We had a couple reschedules because baby was sick and then my kids got put on quarantine at school. We all have to go with the flow in these crazy Covid times! So baby boy was 8 weeks old by the time we did the session, but I absolutely loved every minute. I typically say to shoot for around 3 weeks old for the newborn session, but it also doesn’t matter one bit if we get delayed or Momma needs more time to recuperate. My newborn sessions are laid back, natural, very simple, no crazy poses. So it’s not imperative to rush into the studio right away. I know from experience that no mom is feeling ready for pictures 1 week after giving birth!
