About ME
Hello! Iām Shannon, a natural light photographer located in Denver, Colorado specializing in Children & Families, Maternity and Newborn. Iāve spent the last 12 years capturing momentous milestones, documenting growing families and recording the everlasting bond of mother and child. I have a laid back approach with the ability to connect with each family member. My goal is to effectively guide you in order to capture those fun, relaxed, tender moments that you so badly want to hold onto. My heart is drawn to soft muted tones, neutrals and feminine textures, which allows the images to exude emotion and connection. I offer a high end unique experience focused on making the entire process smooth, straight forward & seamless.

One of my favorite things about family sessions is getting to witness the special bond dads share with their children. You always bring so much fun, silliness, laughter, and energy to every shoot. You`re the piggyback-givers, joke tellers, snack carriers, fixers, protectors, and memory-makers.
And let`s be honestā¦ a special shoutout to the dads who showed up for photo day even though they`d probably rather be anywhere else. š The dads who carried all the bags, survived multiple outfit changes, chased toddlers around, bribed kids with snacks, smiled on command, and somehow managed to act natural after hearing ājust one more photo!ā about 47 times.
Some of my favorite images are the unplanned momentsāthe way your children look up at you, the way you make them laugh, and the quiet interactions in between that remind everyone just how loved they are.
Thank you for showing up, even when it wasn`t necessarily at the top of your weekend wish list. Thank you for being playful, patient, and fully present for your families. Years from now, these photos will become some of your children`s most treasured possessions, and they`ll be so grateful that you were in them.
It is always such an honor to document these moments and preserve these memories for your families.

I love milestone sessions so much!
One of the greatest privileges of being a photographer is getting to watch your families grow and having the opportunity to see my clients more than once. There is something so special about documenting these chapters and seeing how much can change in such a short amount of time.
The last time I saw this sweet girl was for her studio newborn session, and now here she is, sitting up, full of personality, and working on learning how to stand. It truly feels like I blinked and she grew into this fun, curious little girl.
This session was such a joy with these three, and Iām so grateful we were able to capture this sweet season of their lives. These milestone sessions may seem small now, but they`re the moments you`ll look back on years from now and be so thankful you preserved.
Watching your babies grow is bittersweet, but being able to freeze these fleeting moments in time is one of my favorite parts of what I do!
Denver families, never underestimate how quickly these stages pass. Every smile, every wobbly stand, and every tiny expression deserves to be remembered.

Red Rocks never disappoints. It was so good to be back at this location with this sweet family!
The weather has been beautiful lately, which means outdoor session season is officially here. I can`t wait to photograph more families at one of Colorado`s most stunning locations. Between the incredible red rock formations, mountain views, and gorgeous golden light, it`s easy to see why this is one of my favorite places for family photos.

The sweetest cake smash for this little girl`s first birthday! šāØ
One of the things I love most about cake smash sessions is that it`s often the very first time your sweet baby gets to taste cake. Watching their reactions, whether they dive right in or cautiously take that first bite, is always so much fun!

Nothing beats when the local wildlife (š¦) decides to join your session!
Seeing these deer wander through the background was such a fun surprise, and Iām so glad we were able to capture them in a few photos! Moments like this are one of the reasons I love shooting outdoors. You can plan for beautiful light and gorgeous scenery, but sometimes nature gives you a little extra magic you could never have expected.
Definitely one of the perks of outdoor sessions over the studio if you ask me š
