Hello! I’m Shannon, a natural light photographer located in Denver, Colorado specializing in Children & Families, Maternity and Newborn. I’ve spent the last 12 years capturing momentous milestones, documenting growing families and recording the everlasting bond of mother and child. I have a laid back approach with the ability to connect with each family member. My goal is to effectively guide you in order to capture those fun, relaxed, tender moments that you so badly want to hold onto. My heart is drawn to soft muted tones, neutrals and feminine textures, which allows the images to exude emotion and connection. I offer a high end unique experience focused on making the entire process smooth, straight forward & seamless.

This session at Highlands Ranch Mansion was so much fun to photograph!
I always love shooting here because it is such a beautiful and versatile location. Between the gardens, the architecture, and all the different little spots around the property, it photographs so beautifully every single time.
My 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐧, and the gardens should be blooming within the next month which is always my favorite time of year here.

This sweet momma and her daughter looked SO cute sporting their @ryleeandcru for their Mother’s Day session a few weeks ago, and I honestly love how timeless coordinating outfits photograph in the studio.

It feels a little funny posting blooms while we’re currently sitting under 7 inches of snow (and yes… school was cancelled today 😅).
But this is Colorado—the snow will melt in a few days, and in a few weeks everything is going to be so green from it. Those rolling hills + fresh wildflowers are coming, and it’s one of my favorite seasons to photograph.

What started as one last lonely unbooked Mother’s Day mini turned into getting to meet this sweet mama and capture this season with her daughter.
She picked everything from the client closet, and I’m not kidding when I say this is one of my favorite mother + daughter wardrobe combos ever… soft, timeless, and so beautifully in sync.

Although the blooms came early, they were so good this year. I’m already dreaming about sessions for next year.
