Hello! Iโm Shannon, a natural light photographer located in Denver, Colorado specializing in Children & Families, Maternity and Newborn. Iโve spent the last 12 years capturing momentous milestones, documenting growing families and recording the everlasting bond of mother and child. I have a laid back approach with the ability to connect with each family member. My goal is to effectively guide you in order to capture those fun, relaxed, tender moments that you so badly want to hold onto. My heart is drawn to soft muted tones, neutrals and feminine textures, which allows the images to exude emotion and connection. I offer a high end unique experience focused on making the entire process smooth, straight forward & seamless.
Not every family session has to be dressy or formal to feel beautiful and timeless.
A lot of what you see on my feed are flowy dresses and outfits styled a little more traditionally for photos, but your session can look however your family looks and feels best. Whether thatโs barefoot babies, denim, sneakers, oversized tees, or the outfits you already reach for every day.
You never have to choose something from my client wardrobe if it doesnโt feel like you. I want your photos to reflect your real family โ your connection, your personalities, and this season exactly as it is.

This session at Highlands Ranch Mansion was so much fun to photograph!
I always love shooting here because it is such a beautiful and versatile location. Between the gardens, the architecture, and all the different little spots around the property, it photographs so beautifully every single time.

It feels a little funny posting blooms while weโre currently sitting under 7 inches of snow (and yesโฆ school was cancelled today ๐
).
But this is Coloradoโthe snow will melt in a few days, and in a few weeks everything is going to be so green from it. Those rolling hills + fresh wildflowers are coming, and itโs one of my favorite seasons to photograph.
