Rock the Shot January 2015 Photo Challenge

DSC_7526

This month’s photo challenge theme over at Rock the Shot (www.rocktheshotforum.com) is : Favorite Image of 2014. This was a HARD one!!! Oh goodness, I had so many. I even posted my top 10 on my Facebook page recently (www.facebook.com/shannonreneephoto) if you’d like to take a look and weigh in!  But ultimately, there was something about this image that kept drawing me in…it’s a beautiful image but I also feel like there’s certain level of mystery there too:) I shot this with a Nikon D600 and a 24-70 2.8. My settings were ISO 400, f3.5, SS 1/320. Thanks for visiting my page!

I had the privilege of photographing this beautiful mama and her sweet newborn in my Centennial, CO studio. There’s something so special about slowing down and capturing those first few weeks together, and I loved having them in the studio for this session.

For those looking for a studio newborn photographer in Centennial or the greater Denver area, I’d love to welcome you into the studio. 🤍
