This was a fun personal project for me. I recently did a photo shoot of 5 tween girls. You know those years where you’re not a kid anymore, but you’re not a teenager either?! 🙂 I’m a sucker for a great coming of age story. And I very rarely get the opportunity to document this age. I photograph babies and toddlers all day (which I love!) but this sweet innocence, yet glimpse of adulthood of a 12 yr old often gets overlooked. I wanted to capture each of them and highlight their greatest interest.

The inspiration behind it was a mixture of my love for a great coming of age story and the desire to show them that they can all be different AND beautiful♥
